Our Chef

Originally from Savannah, GA, Jonathan Hagins joined the Lowrey Group in April of 2007, working specifically to kick start a new menu at Ocean Grille and then moving on to perfect Antonio's, where he remains Executive Chef there in Wexford Plaza on Hilton Head Island.

Hagins graduated from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1995 and went on to work in leading restaurants in Connecticut, Keystone, Colorado, and Hilton Head, SC. He worked his way up at Kiawah Island Resort in Charleston, SC eventually becoming Chef de Cuisine and achieving the Four Diamond Award three years straight. In November of 2004, Hagins became Chef de Cuisine of the well known Cloister hotel in Sea Island, GA.

After over 18 years of experience, Hagins says that his approach to cooking is simple yet elegant with a focus on flavors and presentation.
